We are growing in God together through prayer,
worship and fellowship

At NPC we are a varied group of Christ followers – no two alike. Come with your faith, with your doubt, with your questions. Not everyone of us agrees with each other, but all desire in their own way to love and walk with God. “God alone is Lord of the conscience.”
Dr. Michael R. Bradley
Interim Pastor

I have been associated with the Normandy Presbyterian Church in several capacities since the 1970's when I served as Moderator of the Session for a few months. From May 2014 until August 2015 I was the Interim Pastor for the congregation and, again, from October 2019 to September 2020 I was the Interim Pastor. February 2025 is the third time I have had the pleasure of working with this church.
I was ordained as a minister in April 1962. I had been speaking in churches for Youth Rallies and such meetings since I was fifteen. While in college I noticed that small churches had difficulty finding qualified pastors and I felt the need to have a career in which I could support a family and serve small churches. I earned the Ph.D. In U.S. History at Vanderbilt and taught at Motlow College for 36 years, working with small churches on the weekends.
Normandy is one of the favorite paces I have been pastor. The people of this congregation seem to like coming to church and they work to make the church an active part of the Kingdom of God.
