A Small Church with a Big Heart Growing in God Together through Prayer, Worship & Fellowship

A SPECIAL PLACE TO WORSHIP AND PRAY - COME CHECK US OUT!

We are a small, country church focused primarily on Sunday worship. Our 9:00 worship service is a traditional liturgy in the reformed tradition of the Presbyterian church, but we leave room for creativity, contemplative prayer, and music from our many talented congregants. Our pastor’s sermons are Christ-focused, encouraging our faith walk and spiritual growth.

After worship, we gather for yummy refreshments and a time to visit. Adult Sunday School begins around 10:20 – or whenever the snacks are gone!

Join us!

We're excited to share a special announcement from our Pastoral Nominating Committee!

We look forward to welcoming him and entering into this new season together!

Help Us Tell the Story of Our Church ⛪️

We’re working on a special project to capture the history of Normandy Presbyterian Church — but instead of focusing only on dates and buildings, we want to focus on the people who built this church community!

Many of the men and women who helped shape our church are no longer with us, but their faith, service, and love for this church are the foundation we stand on today. We would love your help remembering them.

If you have memories, stories, or photos of past church members, please share them with us! We are especially interested in things like:

• Sunday School teachers and classes
• Vacation Bible School memories
• Teen gatherings in the church basement
• Children’s Christmas programs or music
• Weddings, baptisms, or christenings held at the church
• Women’s and men’s group activities
• Special donations or improvements to the church (piano, kitchen, repairs, communion items, etc.)
• Any stories about how people served, volunteered, or supported the church
• The story behind the 12 Disciple Windows
• Or anything else that comes to mind!

We are also hoping to gather memories about families and members from earlier years, including names such as:

Ayers, Blankenship, Cortner, Crockett, Daniel, the Dement family, Argie Stem-Ezell, the Gallagher family, the Gibson family, Wilburn Hiles, the Hitt family, the McMillan family, Earl Sherrill, Della Sneed, the Throneberry and Troup families, the Troxler family, Clara Waite, the Woodfin family, and others.

Even a short paragraph or a simple memory would be wonderful! Every story helps preserve the history of our church family.

Please send your memories by May 1st!!!
